INTEGRITAS TERBUKA: PEACE AND INTERFAITH STUDIES, Vol. 2, No. 1, 2023 (April-June 2023), features eight articles exploring a wide range of issues related to interfaith dialogue, art, culture, and the impacts of globalization on society. Several articles discuss the importance of a new approach to strengthening religious moderation through interfaith dialogue and how the arts, including music, can play a role in fostering harmonious relationships between religious communities and mitigating social conflicts. Globalization and social media are examined as factors contributing to modern human alienation, while religion and culture face new challenges in the current wave of globalization. Other articles offer practical solutions to counter the negative effects of globalization, especially on the younger generation, through education based on local wisdom and traditional values. The issue of ethnic conflict in Indonesia is addressed with a focus on efforts toward resolution, and the impact of overly restrictive parenting on children's character development is analyzed, highlighting its potential influence on their psychological and social growth. Overall, this edition presents diverse perspectives on the importance of dialogue, art, and education in addressing global challenges in the modern era.
