Integritas Terbuka: Peace and Interfaith Studies publishes all articles and other scholarly works under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). By submitting a manuscript for publication, authors agree that, upon publication, their work will be distributed under this license. Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, readers and other users may freely access, copy, share, redistribute, reproduce, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon published materials in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, without seeking additional permission, provided that they comply with the license terms.
Users must give appropriate credit to the original authors, acknowledge the article's initial publication in Integritas Terbuka: Peace and Interfaith Studies, provide a link to the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, and indicate whether any changes have been made. Attribution must not imply that the original authors or the journal endorse the user or their use of the material. Furthermore, users who distribute adapted versions of published works must license their contributions under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 license or a compatible license permitted under its ShareAlike provisions.
This open access policy promotes the unrestricted dissemination of scholarly knowledge while ensuring appropriate recognition of authorship and maintaining the conditions for responsible reuse and adaptation. Through the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, the journal supports academic collaboration, wider research accessibility, and the sustainable dissemination of scholarship in peace studies, religion, and interfaith dialogue.
Authors who incorporate third-party materials, including photographs, images, illustrations, figures, tables, or other copyrighted content, must ensure that they have the necessary legal rights or permissions to reproduce and publish such materials. If the authors do not own the copyright, they must obtain appropriate written permission from the copyright holder unless the intended use is otherwise permitted by law or an applicable open license.
When third-party materials are intended to be distributed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, authors must also ensure that the copyright holder has authorized such licensing. Materials that are included under separate licensing terms must be clearly identified, appropriately attributed, and accompanied by the relevant copyright or licensing information. Authors must not assume that the journal's CC BY-SA 4.0 license automatically applies to third-party materials for which they do not hold.
