From Institutional Authority to Digital Actors: The Transformation of Interfaith Dialogue in the Digital Technology Era

Abstrak

Abstrak

Perkembangan teknologi digital secara cepat telah mentransformasi lanskap dialog keberagamaan, mengubah cara komunitas religius berkomunikasi, berinteraksi, dan membangun pemahaman bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mensintesis literatur terbaru mengenai dampak teknologi digital—seperti Internet of Things, media sosial, dan kecerdasan buatan—terhadap keterlibatan lintas iman. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menelaah bagaimana teknologi digital memfasilitasi, menantang, dan mendefinisikan ulang dialog antaragama di era kontemporer. Kajian dilakukan dengan menganalisis artikel jurnal, prosiding, dan buku akademik yang terbit antara tahun 2020 hingga 2024, menggunakan sumber dari database internasional. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa platform digital memberikan peluang inklusivitas, aksesibilitas, dan partisipasi yang lebih luas dalam dialog lintas iman, memungkinkan percakapan melampaui batas geografis dan budaya. Selain itu, munculnya digital creatives dan komunitas daring menandai pergeseran otoritas religius dari hierarki institusional menuju aktor-aktor digital yang terdesentralisasi. Namun, studi ini juga mengungkap tantangan serius, seperti risiko bias algoritmik, misinformasi, ketergantungan pada sistem dialog AI, serta komodifikasi praktik keagamaan. Masalah ini memunculkan pertanyaan etis dan epistemologis terkait otoritas, autentisitas, dan tanggung jawab dalam komunikasi agama digital. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan profetik dan teologis terhadap transformasi digital, dengan menekankan keterlibatan proaktif komunitas agama dalam mengembangkan etika digital, literasi teknologi, serta kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan teknologi.
